In the pharmaceutical industry there has been little change in the way that you can print on tablets & capsules. Historically continuous inkjet has not been an option because of the inks that are available. This leaves traditional pad printing, silk screening and gravure on-product printing systems.
Finally, a smart alternative to these traditional methods. Hewlett-Packard has introduced inkjet print cartridges in which the majority of the ingredients come from the FDA list.
